IMG Worlds of Adventure, the world’s largest indoor theme park – set to open in early 2016 – has announced their adult ticket price and opening times.
Entry to the four zones of the park (Cartoon Network, MARVEL, Lost Valley – Dinosaur Adventure and IMG Boulevard) can be purchased for a single ticket price of AED 300 for adults (with the price of children’s tickets to be announced soon).
Set to compete on a global level, the entry price to IMG Worlds of Adventure is comparable to the cost of an adult ticket at the top major theme parks around the world. The price of entry will cover access to all rides and attractions within the park throughout the course of one day.
The park’s standard operating times will be:
10:00am – 10:00pm – Sunday to Wednesday
10:00am – Midnight – Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Commenting on the announcement, Lennard Otto, CEO of IMG Worlds of Adventure, said, “We anticipate that our guests will stay over 6 ½ hours in our park in a single visit, and we took this into consideration when establishing our pricing strategy. As such, we believe IMG Worlds of Adventure will offer exceptional entertainment value for money.”
IMG Worlds of Adventure will span 1.5 million square feet and will be able to host up to 20,000 visitors per day. Providing an original, immersive experience, the park will have 25 unique retail shops and 28 food and beverage outlets, alongside state-of-the-art thrill rides, kiddie rides and activities including the Velociraptor, the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in Dubai.
The first world-class multi-branded theme park to open in the region, IMG Worlds of Adventure is temperature controlled, meaning that it is able to attract visitors year-round.
The park is currently in the final stages of development and is gearing up for the grand opening. The main structure and civil works have been completed and the rides, F&B, and retail are currently in the testing, commissioning and fit-out phase.
